Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking a professional to manage sourcing and material procurement. The role includes reviewing BOM data, ensuring quality deliveries, co-ordinating with suppliers, and maintaining performance indicators. The ideal candidate possesses a Diploma/Degree in supply chain management with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential, and Mandarin skills will be an advantage.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to liaise with China counterpart in Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Review all BOM data issues related to PNRF & PO.
• Ensure quality of delivered materials.
• Co-ordinate with IQA on rejected parts.
• Manage supplier performance and maintain indicators.

Job description

Genitronic (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd – Kota, Kedah

Review all BOM data issue PNRF & PO within L/T with against LN planned PO or customer batch material planning.

Ensure that the quality of the materials delivered.

Ensure that the delivery schedule conform to the PMC planning date. Work to pull in or push out PO as needed.

Co-ordinate with IQA on rejected parts.

Review monthly excess, obsoletion material and material aging >60 day by working cross department to drive for solution.

Review monthly Inventory turn achievement against KPI.

Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Sourcing

Review all BOM data and responsible to source materials , EE components , packaging , PCB , plastic , metal & etc per BOM .

Prepare RFQ/MFQ monitor through process by BOM , Drawings , Specification and Gerber .

To plan source and develop new potential suppliers at the competitive price , quality and lead time .

To ensure a smooth flow of documentation distribution to respective departments.

Managing and coordinate supplier selection qualification.

Manage supplier performance , consolidate and maintain all suppliers performance and indicators .

Maintain materials / components price list , ASL and SER.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/ Degree in Purchasing, Material, Supply Chain Management or related field.

At least 3 years working experience in manufacturing environment.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Language: Bahasa Malaysia, English and ability to communicate, read and write in Mandarin (to liaise with China counterpart).
