PUBLIC RELATIONS & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE

Master Builders Association Malaysia is seeking suitable dedicated & dynamic candidates for the following position:

Qualifications

• Degree holders preferably Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or English Language with at least 2 years of relevant working experience. Fresh graduates will be considered too.
• Computer literacy - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Have relevant experience in liaison with the Media/Press
• Good spoken and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Written and spoken knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.
• A well-rounded Public Relations professional with strong communication skills.
• Need to be proactive, creative and passionate about work.

Job Responsibilities

• To prepare media releases.
• To communicate and liaise with the media/press.
• To prepare and handle press conferences.
• To prepare and handle enquiries and interview requests from the media/press/external organisations.
• To organise dialogues and meetings with Government Agencies/Embassies/External Organisations.
• To monitor daily news related to the construction industry.
• To monitor new policies issued by the relevant Government Agencies.
• To prepare the monthly Bulletin, President’s Message and monthly video.
• To help handle the publications of the Association.
• To prepare the annual report of the Association.
• To prepare speeches and messages for events.
• To handle membership marketing, promotion and activities.
• To undertake ad-hoc duties from time to time.
