Job summary

A property management company based in George Town, Penang is seeking a detail-oriented professional to conduct property audits and manage contractors. Responsibilities include overseeing repair projects, conducting inspections, and liaising with tenants to minimize disruption. Property Audits: Conduct regular walkthroughs of the properties to identify necessary repairs and preventative maintenance needs.

Contractor Management: Identify, vet, and coordinate with external contractors (plumbers, electricians, roofers, and painters).

Quotation Analysis: Obtain multiple quotes for repair works, negotiate pricing, and provide recommendations to the Company.

Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site works to ensure contractors adhere to the agreed scope of work and do not damage the building’s original features.

Quality Control: Final inspection of completed works before recommending payment/sign-off to the Company.

Tenant Liaison: Coordinate repair schedules with tenants to minimize disruption while ensuring the Landlord’s assets are protected.

Requirements

Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of building structures, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, and roofing.

Project Management: Proven experience in managing vendors and multiple repair projects simultaneously.

Communication: Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to provide clear, written reports/photo updates to the Company.

Experience: 3–5 years in Property Management, Facilities Management, or a supervisory role in Construction.
