Part-Time Quantity Surveyor Role!

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a flexible, part-time role to utilize your expertise without a full-time commitment? Join our dynamic team and help us ensure the financial success of our exciting construction projects!

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and meticulous Part-Time Quantity Surveyor to assist with cost management, procurement, and financial reporting on an ongoing, flexible basis.

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Most of the time remote)

Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Progress Claim and review of Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs and preparing cost reports.
  • Managing and issuing valuations and payment certificates to sub-contractors & suppliers.
  • Preparing and assessing variations/change orders.
  • Providing support in final account negotiations.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • A relevant degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
  • Having a knowledge of contract law and standard forms of contract (e.g., JKR, PAM).
  • Moderate skills in measurement, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, specialist QS software).
  • Good attention to detail and communication skills.
