Job summary

A leading construction company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the development of project schedules. You will be responsible for ensuring alignment with budgets and quality standards, developing a master schedule, and coordinating with stakeholders for successful project completion. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with at least 5 years of experience in the main contractor environment. Knowledge of Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project management software like Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project is an advantage.
• Being meticulous and capable of excellent presentation is essential.

Job description

Oversee and track the development of project schedules, ensuring alignment with work progress, budget, and quality standards.

Develop a comprehensive master project schedule to guide subcontractors in achieving targeted deliverables.

Strategically plan and monitor project timelines, analyze data and situations, propose solutions.

Provide management with project planning updates through detailed analyses and regular reporting.

Devise solutions to meet project deadlines, control costs, and maintain quality benchmarks.

Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure successful project completion and seamless handover.

Perform any other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirement

A recognized Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or its equivalent with 5 years' work experience in the main contractor environment.

Knowledge of Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project is an advantage

Strong analytical skills, meticulous and excellent presentation skill.

Ability to operate drones will be an added advantage.
