Responsibilities

• Review contract documents and define project scope.
• Prepare project cost estimates and control expenses.
• Develop project schedules and identify critical activities.
• Coordinate with consultants for compliant project design.
• Manage preparation of shop drawings and BIM models.
• Propose cost-effective construction alternatives.
• Evaluate technical and commercial vendor submissions.
• Manage procurement of HVAC equipment and materials.
• Plan HVAC installation works and resolve site issues.
• Monitor installation progress and track labor productivity.
• Implement QA/QC procedures for compliance.
• Enforce site safety requirements and coordinate high-risk activities.
• Prepare progress claims and manage change orders.
• Track actual costs and forecast final accounts.
• Plan testing and commissioning activities.
• Compile as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
• Manage rectification of defects and coordinate close-out.
• Lead progress meetings and manage project updates.

Job description

• a. Review contract documents, drawings, and specifications; define project scope and execution strategy; identify risks and constraints
• b. Prepare project and manage cost, project expenses, forecast cash flow and control project cost
• c. Develop project programmed aligned with master schedule; identify critical activities and long-lead items
• d. Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to develop compliant project design; manage RFIs and technical clarifications
• e. Review and manage preparation of shop drawings and BIM models; resolve clashes with other trades
• f. Propose cost-effective and constructible alternatives without compromising performance
• g. Prepare RFQs; evaluate technical and commercial submissions; appoint vendors and subcontractors
• h. Manage procurement of HVAC equipment and materials, track delivery schedules
• i. Plan and sequence HVAC installation works; coordinate with other trades; resolve site issues
• j. Lead site execution strategy; coordinate with other trades; manage installation sequencing
• k. Monitor installation progress and labor productivity, track delays and constraints
• l. Implement QA/QC procedures; ensure compliance with specifications and approved drawings
• m. Enforce site HSE requirements, coordinate lifting and high-risk activities
