Job summary

An award-winning HRMS provider in Petaling Jaya is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end Rymnet HRMS implementations. This role requires strong SQL proficiency, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a minimum of 3 years experience in application development. The candidate will ensure project delivery meets timelines and quality while coordinating with various stakeholders. This is an onsite permanent position, and only Malaysian citizens, PR, or RP holders are eligible to apply.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (E5/E6) to lead end-to-end Rymnet HRMS implementations—ensuring delivery meets agreed timelines, scope, and quality while guiding consultants and aligning stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Application Consultants through end-to-end client implementation delivery
• Conduct requirement studies, analysis, and documentation within agreed timelines
• Plan and run UAT sessions; validate results and secure formal client sign-off
• Ensure delivery aligns to approved scope of work and planned schedule
• Coordinate with Technology Development on client customizations (within scope/timeline)
• Support end users by troubleshooting technical and functional issues during rollout
• Validate accuracy during Parallel Run and key testing phases
• Deliver module training to client-appointed personnel and record attendance (including HRD Corp claim needs where applicable)
• Maintain and complete project control documents; hand over properly to Customer Support upon completion
• Track milestones to support timely billing and overall delivery performance

What You Bring

Must-have:

• Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computing, Software Development, or related field
• Strong SQL proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft tools/software
• Minimum 3 years experience in full-cycle web application development and/or implementation delivery
• Solid grasp of project implementation methodology and structured delivery practices
• Understanding of HR processes and industry best practices
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
• Critical/logical thinking with proactive execution and risk awareness
• Malaysian Citizens, PR, or RP holders with a valid work visa only (no visa sponsorship)

Nice to Have

• Programming knowledge and strong understanding of IT system logic/process flows
• Familiarity with HR Management Systems (HRMS)
• Strong relationship management with external customers
• Prior project management experience handling multiple concurrent implementations
