Job description

We are looking for a Project Engineer in the Prai office in conjunction with our business expansion. This role is integral to supporting GreenBay CES Sdn Bhd, a young and energetic provider of Data Center, Critical Environmental, and Renewable Energy solutions in Malaysia.

Responsibilities & Authority

• Schedule preparation, pre‑planning and resource forecasting for engineering and other technical activities relating to the project.
• Attend site visits prior to project kick‑off and convene project meetings whenever required.
• Oversee the performance of vendors involved during project implementation stages.
• Assure the accuracy of financial forecasts, tie them to project schedules, and control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
• Ensure projects are completed according to plans, monitoring implementation against objectives, budget, and timeline while meeting client quality expectations.
• Manage project team resources, provide training, and develop extensive project management expertise.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes; ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Compile comprehensive documentation and reports, including daily and weekly reports, project sign‑off, hand‑over documentation, and other related documentation.

Requirements

• ​Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Electrical Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• More than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in written English.
• Multi‑task effectively with a positive attitude.
• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality with a high level of commitment and initiative.
• Some knowledge of ISO documentation is necessary.
• Able to work independently.
• Hardworking and willing to learn.

• Critical power (UPS systems, AVC, etc.) and cooling (Precision Air Cond, In‑Row Air Cond) for data centers and production.
• Early warning smoke detection systems for industrial environments such as cleanrooms, warehouses, hospitals, airports, etc.
• Rack and PDU.
• Structured cabling systems.
• Security access and CCTV systems.
• Renewable energy solutions such as solar systems, EV chargers, etc.
