A retail brand management company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a candidate responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of store openings and refurbishments. The role requires developing project plans, supervising construction teams, and ensuring compliance with standards across various stages of project execution. The ideal candidate will manage communications with stakeholders and handle both maintenance and customer complaints, contributing to the successful operation of stores in Malaysia.
Responsible for the planning, construction, renovation, and final acceptance of new store openings and existing store refurbishment projects in Malaysia, ensuring project objectives for timeline, quality, and cost are achieved.
Develop project plans for Malaysia and monitor the construction process, coordinating resources among design teams, contractors, and suppliers.
Conduct site inspections, measurements, and collect design-related data for store layouts in Malaysia.
Collect, review, and verify the completeness and accuracy of site measurement data for Malaysia stores, and identify any obvious errors.
Supervise and manage Malaysia construction teams to ensure full compliance with company requirements throughout all project stages, including site measurement, contract signing, site handover, construction, and project completion.
Responsible for all on-site engineering execution matters for Malaysia store projects, including drawing review, budget verification, technical briefings, construction guidance, quality control, schedule management, safety management, acceptance evaluation, project handover, and final account settlement.
Coordinate and communicate all construction-related matters for Malaysia projects, managing both internal and external stakeholders at construction sites.
Coordinate onboarding and on-the-job training for newly introduced construction teams during their first, second, and third store projects.
Responsible for Malaysia store maintenance and handling customer complaints.
Identify, consolidate, analyze, and report issues discovered during the store setup and operational phases.
Complete other tasks assigned by senior management with a high standard of execution.
