A leading environmental organization seeks a candidate for the Procter & Gamble Nature Pillar Project based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The role demands strong project management skills and the ability to engage stakeholders effectively while reporting on project deliverables. Ideal candidates should hold a related university degree and possess technical writing skills, along with the ability to manage complex tasks independently. A valid driving license is required for necessary travel, including to remote areas.
The purpose of this position is to provide technical and operational deliverables for the Procter & Gamble Nature Pillar Project (The P&G Project). The ideal candidate will have a strong specialization in project management and technical reporting, with the ability to manage complex tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision. This role involves ensuring that all aspects of the P&G Nature Pillar Project align cohesively to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables.
1) Working closely with the Living Landscape Lead to coordinate P&G Nature Pillar Project to ensure seamless progress toward achieving the project deliverables.
2) Execute assigned activities according to work plans related to the P&G Nature Pillar project which include but are not limited to:
(a) Engaging stakeholders and maintaining a working relationship with all relevant stakeholders.
(b) Conduct field projects and activities aimed to provide granular data and to provide efficient restoration activities and management.
3) Monitor project expenditures and ensure timely processing and receipt of invoices and payments.
4) Manage compilation of periodic reports to P&G and WWF-US, ensure the reports are submitted in a timely manner to Living Landscape Lead and partners.
5) Develop strategic plans aligned with the P&G Nature Pillar project KPIs and ensure all project components support the overall objectives, to be effectively communicated with WWF-Malaysia internal teams.
6) Manage work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision while consulting supervisors for support when necessary.
7) Collaborate closely with the Living Landscape Lead and other programme leads in understanding gaps and issues relating to existing and potential projects.
8) Assist in providing relevant information for communication purposes such as the preparation of press releases and submission of articles to WWF-Malaysia’s magazine and other external media sources, input into campaigns or other major communications initiatives as and when needed or required.
9) Provide technical and ensure quality control, and on-time delivery, exercise responsibility in executing project activities, and ensure compliance with WWF-Malaysia’s policies, procedures and guidelines.
