Overview
Golden Sails is a non-profit organisation dedicated to senior care, wellbeing, and community-based programmes. We run elderly day care service, regular activities, workshops, and initiatives that support seniors, caregivers, and the wider community in a respectful and meaningful way.
We are looking for a responsible and self-driven team member to support our administration, programme coordination, and basic marketing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration & Programme Coordination
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to programmes and activities.
- Coordinate weekly and monthly activities (e.g. AgeWell Saturday programmes).
- Liaise with facilitators, partners, vendors, and collaborators.
- Assist with scheduling, confirmations, forms, and documentation.
- Support on-site coordination during events when required.
Marketing & Communication Support
- Assist in preparing simple marketing materials (posters, programme info, announcements).
- Coordinate content for social media and communication channels.
- Support outreach to partners and collaborators.
- Maintain clear communication with participants and facilitators.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Administration, Marketing, Social Science, or related fields.
- Able to work independently, manage tasks, and follow through responsibly.
- Good communication and coordination skills (written and spoken).
- Comfortable liaising with different stakeholders (facilitators, seniors, partners).
- Organised, patient, and detail-oriented.
Added Advantage
- Experience handling social media (posting, coordination, basic content).
- Interest or experience in community work, social service, or senior care.
- Familiarity with tools such as WhatsApp, Google Forms, Canva, or similar.
