Overview

As a Production Technician at Samsung SDI Energy Malaysia Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in the Manufacturing Process, ensuring the smooth and efficient production of high-quality products. This full-time position is based in Negeri Sembilan and offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team within the manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure smooth production flow.
• Set up machines and prepare raw materials/components according to work instructions.
• Perform routine checks, adjustments, and minor maintenance to maintain equipment efficiency.
• Record production data, machine performance, and downtime reports accurately.
• Follow safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to meet daily output targets

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Technical field.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing/production environment is an advantage
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Knowledge of safety practices, 5S, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficient in the use of production equipment, tools, and basic maintenance techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
• Good communication skills to effectively report on production progress and concerns
