Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, participating in training, and conducting equipment operation with the necessary certifications. A diploma or equivalent in chemistry or engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience are required. Tosoh Advanced Materials – Kemaman, Terengganu
To perform operational activities during shift according to safe operating procedure with supervision of Production Shift Supervisor.
To attend hand over meeting lead by production shift supervisor for shift activity planning and plant status.
To ensure safe working environment by complying with company safety and environment regulation and management.
To comply with quality plan and instruction from process engineers via supervisor’s instruction.
To perform normal routine inspection, cleaning and quality analysis sampling as instructed by production shift supervisor and to produce report/data log of the activities performed.
To report any irregularities of machineries and process to production shift supervisor and perform corrective action if possible.
To practice cleanliness and tidiness during shift operation activities.
For certified competence person (boiler, scrubber, bag filter, waste water treatment) – to operate and monitor equipment which under “competency” regulation.
To participate with company activity mainly in 5S, kaizen and small group activities.
To actively participate in training either process control, production method, safety and environment control and emergency response planned by plant supervisor.
To actively participate in company activity planned by HRGA or another department.
To abide and comply with company regulations and government agencies regulation.
