Overview

We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor for a leading player in the Industrial Machinery Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 50 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

Location & Scope

• Based in Johor
• Expansion role
• Managing a headcount of 50

The role

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of local and foreign workers on the shop floor. Foster a positive and safe work environment, manage attendance, and conduct training to develop team skills and ensure high productivity.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily manufacturing activities, including the operation of processing equipment such as welding, assembly, and painting/powder coating. Ensure all production goals are met on time and within quality specifications.
• Compliance & Quality: Implement and maintain the execution of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. Actively participate in external audits and inspections, including those related to CTPAT, Sedex, and anti-terrorism for US customers.
• Process Expertise: Use your knowledge of painting/powder coating processes and environmental protection equipment to optimize operations.
• Problem-Solving: Utilize your hands-on experience to troubleshoot operational issues and equipment problems, guiding the team in resolving challenges quickly and effectively.

The experience

• Diploma or above, preferably in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Mandarin as this role requires to serve many Mandarin-speaking clients.
