Job description

Responsibilities

1. Plan, manage, and supervise daily activities of the production team to ensure the efficient and timely production of goods.
2. Monitor production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality and reduce costs.
3. Plan and supervise production operations to ensure production schedules are met.
4. Ensure that required manpower, equipment and raw materials are sufficient to meet production needs.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or delays in the production process.
6. Maintain accurate production records and reports, including output, downtime and inventory levels.
7. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and company policies.
8. Continuously provide support, evaluate and train subordinates to improve their job performance and productivity.
9. Ensure the production team’s compliance with workplace policies and SOPs according to safety requirements and objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

1. Possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field.
2. Have at least 3-5 years of experience as a production supervisor in mechanical manufacturing industry. Salary is determined based on knowledges and experiences.
3. Able to meet tight deadlines, work independently, be self-motivated, work well under pressure and exhibit proactive and positive working attitudes.
4. It is an advantage if the candidate knows and able to do mechanical design.
