About the role

Adabi Consumer Industries Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturer in the food industry, is seeking a highly experienced and driven Production Manager to join our dynamic team in Rawang, Selangor. As the Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the production department, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure smooth end-to-end operations within the Canning Factory, including production activities, manpower coordination, and line efficiency.
• Develop and implement production plans and schedules to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly output targets.
• Lead, manage, and supervise the production team, providing coaching, training, and performance reviews to drive productivity and maintain product quality.
• Monitor and analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, QA, QC, R&D, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless production flow and on-time delivery.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, food safety, and quality requirements across the production area.
• Develop and maintain effective inventory management practices, ensuring optimal levels of raw materials, packaging items, and finished goods.
• Support strategic and operational initiatives to strengthen the company’s growth, operational capability, and competitiveness.
• Oversee all production-related documentation, including GMP, Audit, ISO, HALAL, JKKP, and HACCP requirements, ensuring proper records and readiness for inspections.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role within the Food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop production teams towards achieving operational excellence.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills with the ability to optimise production processes.
• Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and manufacturing best practices.
• Proficient in production management systems, data analysis tools, and reporting platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, product quality, and continuous improvement.
