As a PRODUCTION MANAGER at Cal-Comp Precision (M) Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's manufacturing operations in Johor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all production activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of high-quality products in injection molding process

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement effective production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and production targets

Manage and optimise the use of resources, including machinery, equipment, and personnel, to maximise productivity and efficiency

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that all processes adhere to quality standards and safety protocols

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as purchasing, engineering, and quality control, to identify and resolve production-related issues

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste

Provide leadership and mentorship to the production team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning

Monitor and analyze production data, generating reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the injection molding manufacturing,

Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and optimization techniques

Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing production data to drive decision-making

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives
