A leading manufacturing company in Kedah is looking for a qualified individual to oversee production operations ensuring compliance with standards and specifications. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in production or quality assurance. Skills in leadership, technical writing, and proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential. Fluency in Mandarin is highly desirable for effective communication with clients. To ensure all manufacturing batches are produced in accordance with the standard operating procedures and consistently meeting the requirements and product specification.
To provide interpersonal and leadership skills and support for continuing process improvement efforts for manufacturing which benefit the line quality, efficiency and/or productivity.
To address the gaps of non‑compliances or production issue; recommend actions to ensure gap or issue is closed within agreed budgets and time frame.
To prepare annual production budget and capital expenditure.
To control production expenses meeting timeline and is within budget.
To monitor workers’ work performance, discipline and attendance and take necessary disciplinary action with HR advice.
To prepare weekly/monthly production report (output, capacity, efficiency, rejects, etc).
To coordinate with Warehouse & Logistic, Procurement & Planning and, relevant Departments to ensure production and/or goods meet established Quality and Safety standards.
To ensure a safe workplace and all job activities are performed in a safe manner.
To keep abreast with current business trend, production processes and technologies to continually improve product quality and reliability.
To supports company-wide continuous training and development program.
To perform any other duties as assigned to you.
A Diploma and/or Degree in Engineering with 3 or more years working experience in either Production or Quality Assurance in a manufacturing operation.
Able to demonstrate strong professional writing skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
Has sense of urgency and excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Proficiency is required in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu & English communication in written and oral. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
Salary will commensurate with qualification and experience.
