Qualifications

• Experience in product development, China sourcing, automotive, or project coordination is an advantage.
• Ability to understand technical specs and regulatory requirements.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate new vehicle products suitable for the Malaysian market.
• Analyse product specs, technical data, cost structures, and competitive positioning.
• Identify and engage China OEMs/principals, handle communication, documentation and follow-ups.
• Assist management in negotiating and finalising distributorship/dealership agreements.
• Coordinate with China principals for BOM, drawings, technical documents, and sample units.
• Manage Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) submissions with authorities.
• Request and compile all required test reports from China.
• Prepare proposals, comparison sheets, and internal briefing reports for management.
• Support business development activities and identify opportunities in new segments.

Product & Projects Executive (Mandarin Speaker)

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Product & Projects Executive to support our new product introductions, China principal coordination, and regulatory approval processes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys product analysis, project management, and cross-border collaboration — especially with China OEMs.

Salary Range

RM 5,500 – RM 8,000 for mid-level candidates (Other ranges available depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Research and evaluate new vehicle products (vans, trucks, EVs, special vehicles) suitable for the Malaysian market.

Analyse product specs, technical data, cost structures, and competitive positioning.

Identify and engage China OEMs/principals, handle communication, documentation and follow-ups.

Assist management in negotiating and finalising distributorship/dealership agreements.

Coordinate with China principals for BOM, drawings, technical documents, and sample units.

Manage Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) submissions with authorities (SIRIM, MITI , etc)

Request and compile all required test reports from China.

Prepare proposals, comparison sheets, and internal briefing reports for management.

Support business development activities and identify opportunities in new segments.

Requirements

Mandarin proficiency is mandatory (daily work with China principals).

Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
