Job description

Develop and design products according to customer specifications, technical standards, and delivery timelines.

Apply engineering knowledge and innovation to optimise designs within cost, manufacturing, and time constraints.

Prepare, update and control design concepts, detailed fabrication drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM) and documents in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.

Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives for both existing products and manufacturing processes.

Support process development, process optimisation to improve yield, efficiency, and quality.

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to plan, execute, and coordinate the full product and process development cycle.

Provide technical support to Engineering, Production, Operations, Quality, and Sales teams.

Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior as required.

Job Requirements:

Possess Engineering Degree/Advanced Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Product Design or relevant qualification from recognized university.

Proficient in Solidworks, AutoCAD, FEA or equivalent 3D modelling software.

Good at technical report or paper writing and engineering analysis.

Strong creative sense, able to work independently with good initiatives, have a sense of urgency and accountable.
