Qualifications

  • MBA, Master’s Degree, or PhD in Sciences, Engineering, or semiconductor-related engineering disciplines.
  • Experience in Product, Program, or Key Account Management within the semiconductor industry.
  • At least 5 years experience in relevant field.
  • Written & verbal communication skills in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean (added advantage).

As a Product Manager, you will be the product owner responsible for both technical and commercial/operational aspects of the assigned products. This includes product strategy, business growth, technology roadmap, and profitability.

You will work closely with internal teams and counterparts in Switzerland to meet company-wide KPIs and mid‑term goals. You will also act as the key contact for the sales team and field engineers to address customer queries and requests.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Support the sales organization in all technical and operational aspects.
  • Drive corporate strategy through a globally matrixed team across multiple functions.
  • Monitor profitability of existing customer products and derive measures to sustain and increase profitability.
  • Manage customization & industrialization projects and produce technical customer documentation (manuals, product data sheets) in line with European machinery directive requirements.
  • Coordinate customer visits, audits, and customer-specific requirements across VAT group business units and legal entities, ensuring implementation into engineering and operational processes.
  • Supervise changes related to supply chain, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
  • Prepare documentation for customer-relevant changes and submit according to customer-specific change management (CE!, CEx, POR) processes.
Minimum Qualification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences (Physic), Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronic), or semiconductor‑related engineering disciplines.
Preferred Qualification
  • MBA, Master’s Degree, or PhD in Sciences, Engineering, or semiconductor‑related engineering disciplines.
  • Experience in Product, Program, or Key Account Management within the semiconductor industry.
  • At least 5 years experience in relevant field.
  • Written & verbal communication skills in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean (added advantage).
