A leading automotive company in Penang is seeking a Product Manager to facilitate communication and coordination among teams to achieve project milestones. You will conduct market research to inform product development and propose overall Sales Strategy plans for new products. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience, along with strong communication and analytical skills. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Facilitating communication and coordination among teams to achieve project milestones and meet deadlines.
To propose and study on overall Sales Strategy plan of the product (including product feature, variant, price, color) to be introduced, according to the overall new model's schedule.
Working closely with cross‑functional teams from engineering, purchasing, marketing, sales, and finance to align product development with product & business strategy.
Working closely with Research & Development team from regional office (Thailand/Indonesia/Japan) for product development plan and execute the necessary plan internally.
Defining detailed product requirements and specifications based on market research and feedback.
Translating customer needs and market insights into clear and actionable product features, functionalities, and design requirements.
Ensuring new models comply with relevant regulatory requirements, standards, and certifications applicable to the industry and target markets.
To gather market intelligence including market outlook, industry data, competitor analysis, customer behavior, and structure.
Conducting and study the market research to gather the necessary information for product and project development.
Develop product marketing proposal in line with project objective and target.
