Job summary

A prominent procurement firm in Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking a dedicated procurement professional responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from various vendors. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma/Degree and at least 2 years of experience in the Procurement, Logistic, or Supply Chain field, with strong negotiation and communication skills in Malay, English, and Mandarin. A high level of computer literacy is also essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and the capability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • A high level of computer literacy and reporting capability.

  • Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials.
  • Evaluate vendor’s quotations according to specifications.
  • Resolve supply, quality, and service issues with vendors.

Job description

Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials from both local and overseas vendors.

Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.

Resolve supply, quality, and service issues with vendors.

Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors.

Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.

Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Maintain GRN and submit documents to account for payment.

Filling process.

Find a new potential vendor.

Update Ordering Form Control List.

Any other ad-hoc task will be inform by superior from time to time.

Job Requirement:

At least a Diploma/Degree in any field.

Minimum 2 years working experience in Procurement/Logistic/Supply Chain Field.

Good command of Malay, English, and Mandarin in writing, reporting, and speaking skills.

Good technical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

Able to oversee other related scope of work such as Documentation, Procurement & Co-ordination.

Possess good negotiation skills, analytical and commercial inclined.

Well-developed communication skills and ability to liaise with various levels of management, clients, and employees.

High level of computer literacy and reporting capability.
