Our client is a leading energy consultancy focused on accelerating the global transition to sustainable energy. We provide end-to-end expertise across the energy supply chain, including renewables, hydrogen, and power distribution. We are seeking an Experienced Distribution Engineer to join our collaborative team to work on diverse projects across Australia and internationally.

Job Responsibilities

• Design & Estimation: Produce and check designs and estimates for the Distribution Network, including labor, materials, and sub-contract services.
• Technical Analysis: Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis using industry-standard engineering software.
• Overhead Line Design: Complete overhead line designs utilizing software such as Poles 'N' Wires and PLS CADD.
• Project Delivery: Assist with electrical designs across all phases, from feasibility and concept to detailed design.
• Documentation: Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and maintain information in applicable computer systems.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal workgroups and respond to technical queries from government departments and the public.
• Compliance: Ensure all work meets utility standards, safety codes of practice, and legal/contractual requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, concepts, and methods.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with engineering tools and specialized design software.
