A leading production company in Malaysia is seeking an experienced professional in Production Planning to develop schedules and manage coordination with various departments. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and master three languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. Familiarity with Malaysian manufacturing practices and ERP systems is preferred. This role demands excellent problem-solving and coordination skills.
Production Planning Development: Based on sales demand, factory capacity, product yield rate and various production constraints, formulate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure the smooth achievement of sales delivery requirements.
Plan Risk Management & Coordination: Lead the handling of high-risk items in production plans and coordinate with relevant departments to determine solutions; Respond to emergency demand changes, material supply fluctuations and other situations, and overall adjust production scheduling and sales delivery arrangements.
Production-Sales-Inventory & Supply Planning: Manage the production-sales-inventory data of all products to realize the rationalization of supply plans; Formulate the Production Order Plan (POP) according to the Sales Demand Plan (DP), production capacity and finished product inventory; Develop supply plans in combination with sales demand, production plans and actual production conditions, and timely synchronize supply change information.
Production Abnormality Handling: According to the actual production progress of the factory, evaluate the impact on the Delivery Planning Schedule (DPS), and coordinate with the factory, Production Control (PC) and other teams to adjust production plans; Timely handle the emergency changes of delivery plans caused by product abnormalities, new product mass production and other factors.
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or above; At least 6 years of relevant working experience in production planning, material control or manufacturing operations; Solidly master the knowledge of production operation management and production scheduling; Those familiar with factory manufacturing processes, capacity analysis and related technologies are preferred.
Core Competencies: Possess excellent communication and coordination skills and team collaboration awareness; Be able to work under pressure and efficiently respond to emergency tasks; Strong sense of responsibility, meticulous and rigorous work attitude, and outstanding execution ability.
Professional Skills: Proficient in production planning management, material control and production control (especially in the mold/machining industry); Have an in-depth understanding of the coordination logic of production-sales-inventory and supply chain optimization methods.
Technical Capabilities: Skilled in operating ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MES systems; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
Must proficiently master three languages (excellent listening, speaking, reading and writing skills):
English: Essential for workplace general communication and document processing.
Bahasa Malaysia: Necessary for coordinating with local government departments, suppliers and local teams.
Mandarin: Required for communication with the headquarters, Chinese-speaking partners and internal data sharing.
Those familiar with Malaysian manufacturing practices and local supply chain characteristics are preferred; Be able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced and highly collaborative working environment; Possess strong problem-solving ability and data analysis ability.
