Role Description
  • Overall Project Lead for new project, as assigned by PM HOD
  • Main contact point with customer throughout the NPI stage
  • Maintain communication with customer for obtaining project specifications and requirements. Obtain forecast information from BD for capacity planning
  • Familiar with e-office procedures, mainly: SAP Project Number, NPI Project to MP, NPI Budget
  • Ensure RFQ, DFM, FMEA and capacity planning are done as required
  • Ensure project timeline and quality is met according to customer requirements
  • Respond and act promptly to changes from customer on delivery and forecast
  • Organize and form project team from relevant functional departments
  • Lead project periodic meetings with customer
  • Lead project related meetings to drive deliverables with respective internal departments: Project Initialization Meeting (PIM), Tooling MIL, Process FMEA, Weekly meeting, Project Status Review (PSR), NPI Transfer to MP
  • Prepare NPI budget and monitor NPI expenses until it is closed
  • Lead ECN initiated by customer, and follow-up until it is fully implemented
  • Review BOM & Routing before every build to ensure its accuracy
  • Ensure 4M1E is ready prior to every NPI build
  • Familiar with SAP system to check inventory, check and download BOM
  • Effective communication internally & with customer
  • Capable of leading and supervising direct reports and cross functional team
  • Lead sustaining project, as assigned by PM HOD
  • Lead new project RFQ activities, as assigned by PM HOD
  • Consolidate all liabilities after each NPI build and present to PM HOD & BD Manager for review
  • Escalate to PM HOD/Director whenever there is high risk affecting project execution
  • To be responsible for the introduction and implementation of GB/T 23001-2017
  • Any ad-hoc task as assigned by PM HOD
  • Responsible for the implementation and execution of the integration plan of the department
  • Familiar with ISO13485 standards and related regulations
  • Proficient in ISO13485 process confirmation and ISO14971 requirements of relevant standards for risk assessment, proficient in writing risk plans and risk reports, proficient in production and post-production information collection
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of relevant technical experience (tooling, molding, CNC, stamping, product development or EMS is preferred)
  • More than 8 years of working experience in MNC, with 2 years of experience in supervisory role is an added advantage
  • Mandarin-speaking is required
  • Proficiency in Project Management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk mitigation
  • Experience with Inspection processes and ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
