Job summary

A leading automation solutions company is seeking a candidate to participate in the design and development of advanced control systems in Malaysia. The role involves drafting specifications, developing PLC software, and providing technical support. Qualified applicants should possess a Bachelor or Master Degree in Automation/Electronics/Computer Engineering, with at least 2 years of experience. Familiarity with PLC programming tools is advantageous. Willingness to travel for overseas projects is required.

Job description

Participate in control system requirement analysis.

Involved in drafting of functional specifications and detailed design specification.

Perform design and development of PLC software and interfaces.

Perform system integration, testing and commissioning of advanced control systems for material handling systems such as airport baggage handling, in-flight catering and air cargo handling systems.

Provide technical support to installed system.

Job Requirements

Bachelor/Master Degree in Automation/Electronics/Computer Engineering.

Minimum 2 years experience required.

Knowledge in the field of Industrial Automation or similar field.

Knowledge of PLC programming tools such as Siemens Step7, TIA portal, Allen‑Bradley RSLogix5000, Studio5000 or Omron CX Programmer will be advantage.

Dynamic team player with interpersonal skills.

Articulate in communication (English) and with good writing skills.

Willing to travel and work on overseas project.
