Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Planning & Material Control Executive for a 6-month contract. This role involves running MRP, planning purchase requisitions, and generating material delivery plans. Candidates should have a degree and preferably 1-3 years’ experience in demand and supply planning. Excellent analytical and communication skills are a must, along with proficiency in MS Office and fluent English. Familiarity with Mandarin is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in demand planning and supply planning preferred, but fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

• Able to work under pressure and possess a high sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Run MRP after firming planned orders into SAP.
• Plan and issue Purchase Requisitions for materials as required by MRP.
• Generate the final Material Delivery Plan for purchasing and warehouse.
• Accountable for inventory level within set KPI and avoid stockouts.
• Check stock inventory level through SAP to ensure material availability.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on material availability.

Planning & Material Control Executive (6-Months Contract)

Run MRP after firming planned order into SAP.

Plan and issue Purchase Requisitions (PR) for materials as required by the MRP.

Generate the final Material Delivery Plan for purchasing and warehouse.

Accountable for inventory level within set KPI and without stock out.

Check and monitor stock inventory level through the SAP system to ensure material availability for production.

Check goods-in-transit shipment status and coordinate with Purchasing on material availability.

Schedule, plan, and update the quantity and delivery date for materials to be purchased.

Maintain the Material Planning File (Excel).

Prepare raw material and packaging material stock holding reports.

Prepare Monthly Functional Reports and Operation Meeting Presentations.

Prepare monthly raw material and packaging material forecast for headquarters.

Job specification

• Degree in any field.
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in demand planning and supply planning in a manufacturing environment. However, fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
