Personal Assistant to Group General Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive executive support to the Group General Manager of the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This full-time role is a crucial bridge between the Group General Manager and the wider hotel operations, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to drive the strategic objectives of the business.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage the Group General Manager's diary and schedule, including arranging meetings, conferences and travel arrangements
  • Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes and action items for all meetings
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Group General Manager
  • Provide administrative support such as drafting correspondence, maintaining filing systems and coordinating office supplies
  • Contribute to special projects and assist with ad hoc tasks as required
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, ideally within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills
  • Highly discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
