Overview
Role Overview: We’re looking for a culture builder — someone who can energize, connect, and engage our people. This role focuses less on training and more on employee engagement, culture-building initiatives, and internal communications that bring our values to life across all WORQ branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Engagement & Culture
- Design and deliver engagement programs (recognition, wellness, team events, cultural rituals).
- Act as a cultural ambassador, embedding company values in everyday experiences.
- Partner with leaders and the culture committee to drive ground-up initiatives that make employees feel heard and valued.
- Gather and act on employee feedback via surveys, focus groups, and townhalls.
- Internal Communications
- Own the voice of the company — craft and coordinate internal communications that are clear, inspiring, and aligned with WORQ’s brand.
- Build engaging communication channels (newsletters, digital boards, intranet, townhalls) that enhance transparency and belonging.
- Create storytelling campaigns to spotlight achievements, recognition, and community spirit.
- Learning & Development
- Collaborate with the L&D Specialist to support and execute training programs (workshops, e-learning, onboarding journeys).
- Help coordinate knowledge-sharing forums, fireside chats, and peer learning sessions.
- Track participation and gather feedback to improve both engagement and learning outcomes.
- Support blended learning initiatives by making them engaging and well-communicated to employees.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, Operations, and Community teams to sync people engagement with business growth.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives that strengthen WORQ’s people-first culture.
- Partner with external trainers and internal SMEs to deliver engaging experiences.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in employee engagement, culture-building, internal communications, or L&D-related roles.
- Strong communicator — written, visual, and verbal — able to inspire and connect across diverse teams.
- Creative and resourceful: able to make an impact with both small touches and large-scale events.
- Passion for building communities, energizing people, and creating a sense of belonging.
- Experience supporting or running training/learning initiatives is a strong advantage.
- Startup or fast-growing environment experience is a plus.
