Possess a Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in pastry techniques and principles.

Demonstrate 3-5 years of hands‑on experience in pastry production, ideally within a high-volume café, restaurant, or hotel environment.

Exhibit proficiency in all aspects of pastry production, including but not limited to: dough preparation, baking, pastry assembly, and decoration.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of menu development principles, with the ability to contribute innovative and creative pastry ideas that align with The ISLE's brand and culinary direction.

Possess excellent inventory management skills, including the ability to accurately track stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure optimal ingredient freshness.

Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment and ensuring all pastries are prepared and stored in accordance with established protocols.

Communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and management.
