Operations Supervisor (Sunway Pristine Laundry)

Sunway Pristine Laundry – Sunway, Selangor

Responsibilities

• To lead a group of Laundry Operators and hand‑on duties.
• Provide training to Laundry Operators on laundry operation and build up their confidence on the job.
• Ensure daily operation runs smoothly by maximizing laundry capacity in achieving the daily targets.
• Work closely with Operation Manager and external parties to resolve any operational issues.
• To ensure that the correct cleaning materials and correct methods are used as indicated in the instruction booklets and to ensure that the Laundry equipment is kept in good working order.
• To ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly and securely stored away when not on duty and to keep the assigned area clean and tidy at all times.
• To ensure that the Laundry equipment is cleaned thoroughly daily and to schedule wash downs during regular intervals.
• To initiate and make necessary purchase orders for laundry and dry‑cleaning chemicals and supplies that need to be ordered.

Make sure that reserve chemicals are adequate in anticipation of delayed delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of laundry experience in a laundry in the operation of laundry equipment and machinery or any other related experience
• Candidate must have good all‑rounded knowledge and practical experience in laundry operations or operation functions
• Possess self‑discipline and initiative
• Must be physically fit, alert, independent, and good working attitude
• Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Words
• Must be able to read and understand Standard English
