Our client is a fast-growing international logistics company with operations in APAC and USA. Their Malaysian office offers exciting opportunities to play a key role in supporting international operations and driving business impact.

You’ll act as the primary APAC operational liaison with their Australian headquarters to lead and manage all operational activities across the APAC region, including export, import, and cross-border activities to global destinations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage day-to-day operations across MY, HK, VN, AU, & NZ offices, ensuring regulatory alignments between these offices and their Australian headquarters.

Act as the key APAC point-of-contact for the Australian headquarters and internal stakeholders, providing regular performance updates, operational insights, and strategic support.

Coordinate end-to-end export, import, and cross-border shipments from APAC to global destinations, covering ocean, air, courier, e-commerce and trucking related operations.

Lead, coach, and develop regional operation teams, driving capability building, performance management, and a strong service-driven culture.

Ensure full compliance with regional customs, trade, safety, and regulatory requirements, while proactively managing operational risks, costs, and vendor performance.

Support expansion initiatives in existing or new APAC markets by developing scalable SOPs, training frameworks, and operational structures.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

8+ years’ experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multi-country or regional operations, as well as cross-border, multi-cultural teams.

Strong understanding of APAC logistics environments, includingimport/export regulations.

Strong leadership and communication skills across diverse APAC markets.

Strong knowledge of TMS/FMS systems.

Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are an advantage.
