This is an exciting opportunity to join Global Solutions Asia Sdn Bhd as an Operations Manager – Chemical Manufacturing. This is a wide-ranging role ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes ownership. You will be responsible for day-to-day factory operations, workforce management, purchasing, production planning, and coordination of logistics of the company's chemical manufacturing plant located in Port Klang Free Zone, Selangor. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and a keen focus on efficiency and safety.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production planning, quality control, inventory management, and health and safety.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and motivate a team of production staff, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to carry out their duties.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as supply chain and R&D, to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies to enhance the manufacturing capabilities.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall strategic objectives.

• Substantial experience (5+ years) in a similar operations management role within the chemical manufacturing industry.
