Job summary

A leading global provider of testing, inspection, and certification services is seeking a candidate to lead and implement Reliability Centered Maintenance strategies for optimizing asset reliability and performance. The ideal applicant has a degree in engineering, is a Professional Engineer recognized by BEM, and possesses a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Upstream. This position allows for collaboration with diverse teams in shaping a world of trust and enhancing operational reliability.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and implement Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies for optimizing asset reliability and performance.
• Develop and execute Asset Management Systems including RCM, FMEA, RAM, and ECA for effective asset management.
• Oversee Maintenance & Reliability Management processes, including BAM, ERS, REA, and RPM to ensure continuous improvement in asset reliability.
• Perform reliability assessments and failure mode analyses to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide technical leadership in reliability engineering to enhance equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions that improve asset reliability and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in asset management and maintenance processes.
• Prepare and deliver reports on asset performance, reliability initiatives, and improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) to address critical equipment failures and develop action plans for mitigation.
• Support maintenance planning and execution by providing expert input on reliability strategies and best practices.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in relevant engineering or science field from a recognized University/Institution.
• Professional Engineer recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Upstream, with at least 10 years in a role related to operational reliability.
• Knowledge in Asset Management Systems such as RCM, FMEA, RAM, and ECA.
• Experience in Maintenance & Reliability Management Processes such as BAM, ERS, REA, and RPM.
