A veterinary hospital in Selangor is looking for an Operations Manager to coordinate all office administration procedures. The role involves scheduling appointments, managing office staff, and ensuring timely inventory management. Ideal candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration and have at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the health sciences industry. Operations Manager (Veterinary Hospital) are responsible for coordinating and overseeing all office administration procedures. They schedule veterinary appointments, bill pet owners, order office supplies as needed, and supervise the office staff.
The supervision of receptionists and/or front office support staff.
Plans for optimal staffing to assure maximum productivity and service such as preparing employee work schedules and managing the office staff
Directly recruits, interviews, and hires support hospital personnel.
Developing and implementing an effective inventory control system to ensure that necessary office and medical supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
Ensuring that pet owners’ complaints are promptly addressed and resolved
Mediates all problems at work, maintains employee motivation
Oversees the building and equipment maintenance and housekeeping standards.
Responsible for daily bank deposit preparation.
Accounts receivable statements, collections, and policies
Periodically reviews fee schedule for services, products, and increases or changes as necessary.
Establishes hospital budgets and projections for growth.
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or equivalent with minimum 2 years working experience
Experience in health sciences industry is an added advantage
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Ability to multitask and able to meet tight deadlines
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Detailed orientated, patient and empathetic
