Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in retail operations, supply chain, or store management, preferably in FMCG, toys, or lifestyle categories.
- Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software is a plus but not compulsory.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia store visits and setups.
Responsibilities
Retail & Store Operations
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of existing retail and collaboration stores in Malaysia.
- Ensure high operational standards across all locations including cleanliness, machine uptime, staff performance (if manned), and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor store performance and implement continuous improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Store Expansion & Setup
- Lead operational setup of new stores, including store layout planning, machine placement, and infrastructure readiness.
- Collaborate with marketing, and logistics teams to ensure timely and effective store launches.
- Oversee item allocation strategy and selection of SKUs in capsule machines based on location‑specific demand and trends.
Inventory & System Management
- Oversee and manage the company’s in‑house inventory management software.
- Ensure accurate stock records, efficient stock replenishment cycles and healthy allocation of stocks depending on the location demographics.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to monitor inventory levels, deliveries, and restocks.
Cross‑functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Business Development, and Warehouse teams to align on business goals.
- Liaise with external vendors, mall management, and third‑party partners for store operations and logistics.
Reporting & Process Optimization
- Maintain operational SOPs and documentation for training and consistency.
- Generate regular sales performance and inventory reports, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Identify bottlenecks and work with the team to suggest and implement solutions.
