Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Bintulu, Malaysia seeks a qualified engineering professional with a degree and over 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas operations, maintenance, and project management. The candidate must have solid knowledge in Asset Integrity and Process Safety Management and possess strong data management skills, particularly with Power BI and Excel. This role requires proactive problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be Sarawakian and available to start immediately.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience within the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably in Operations, Maintenance, Projects Construction, Commissioning & Startup.
• Sound knowledge in Asset Integrity and Process Safety Management (AIPSM) and Hazards & Effects Management Process (HEMP).
• Solid knowledge and experience in Upstream operations, maintenance, and HSSE.

Responsibilities

• Balance the operational and MoC work process requirements without compromising on HSSE.
• Resolve difficult situations proactively.
• Work on managing Power BI dashboards.

Job description

• University engineering degree/diploma holder (or other technical subjects).
• 5+ years experience within the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably Operations, Maintenance, Projects Construction, Commissioning & Startup
• Sound knowledge in Asset Integrity and Process Safety Management (AIPSM) and Hazards & Effects Management Process (HEMP).
• Ability to influence without formal authority.
• Good interpersonal, communication, coaching and presentation skills.
• Proactive approach to resolving difficult situations.
• Highly proactive, energetic, persistent, and strong capacity to work under tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
• High aptitude towards data quality, attention to details and courage to challenge non-conformances.
• Solid knowledge and experience in Upstream operations, maintenance, and HSSE.
• Proven track records in managing Power BI dashboards and excellent in Microsoft Excel.
• Balance the operational and MoC work process requirements without compromising on HSSE.
• Medically fit, no disciplinary record and preferably Sarawakian candidate who can start immediately.
• Work Based: Onshore based Bintulu.
