A leading shopping mall in Johor Bahru is looking for a Marketing Manager responsible for generating revenue through event promotions and collaborations. The candidate will formulate effective marketing strategies, evaluate event effectiveness, and manage budgets. Strong relationship-building skills with tenants and partners are essential, as well as the ability to conduct market studies. This role requires overseeing promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives while maximizing visibility in local and national markets.
Responsible for the department’s target revenue through Promotion space/ Thematic Events/ Tenant Engagement & Collaboration/ event sponsorship - revenue as per KPI.
Responsible for generating revenue through the leasing of event/promotion spaces, vending machines/kiosk/pop up store/counters within Marketing portfolio as well as sourcing of sponsorship and working partners.
Responsible to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the best marketing strategy in areas of events & promotions space so as to support the marketing objectives for the mall and maximize the mall’s positive exposure in local and national markets according to Marketing dept. KPI.
Formulate and implement effective promotional plans on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
Monitor, evaluate & post mortem the effectiveness of the event are in line with policies, objectives and target market.
Manage, monitor & evaluate budget for revenue in marketing dept and your portfolio.
Ensure proper implementation and smooth coordination of events in accordance with the requirements and standards of each promotional campaign.
Establish and maintain effective work relationship with tenants, relevant government agencies, relevant associations, and industry members, business associates for joint collaboration and sponsorship opportunities.
Back-up Advertising Space rental and enquiries.
Handle marketing dept administrations and documentation work / filling/ correspondences.
Mall Footfall reporting and review on weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly.
To conduct regular market study and gathering of Marketing, A&P information of tenants / retailers / event organizers and market competitors for improvement of the Marketing, A & P Department performance.
To ensure that all confidential information in Marketing, A&P Department are kept within company and must not be shared to any third parties.
Any other duties assigned by the Marketing, A & P, Manager/ GM.
