A leading technology firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a System Assurance Engineer to oversee safety processes and RAMS project requirements. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in safety engineering, and a strong knowledge of applicable standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years RAMS/Safety engineering experience in Railways or other industries (Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Defence, etc).
  • Proficiency in safety CENELEC and IEC standards.
  • Ability to produce safety analyses and documentation (PHA, SHA, IHA, OSHA, FTA, Safety Case).

  • Defining, maintaining, and verifying the Company’s System Assurance Management processes and tools.

System Assurance Engineer (Railway ISCS/ICSS System) – Job Scope & Requirement
  • Responsibilities: Defining, maintaining, and verifying the Company’s System Assurance Management processes and tools. Manage RAMS project requirements from Inception to Final Quality Approval. Decide project safety measurement and RAMS assurance in accordance with safety policy and relevant standards (CENELEC, IEC, etc). Manage Project Hazard Log and closure of pending evidence/mitigations. Carry out Safety and RAM Analysis at project level. Propose design recommendations based on RAM studies and verify architecture choices against RAM targets. Establish the System/Software Safety Case, integrating participating units’ safety cases, and ensure completeness and acceptance. Liaise with Customer / Authority / Partners / Consultants / Independent Safety Assessors regarding approach and demonstration of safety.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 2 years RAMS/Safety engineering experience in Railways or other industries (Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Defence, etc). Knowledge and application of safety CENELEC and IEC standards in Railway ISCS/ICSS. Desirable: ALARP, SFAIRP principles and SIL allocation. Ability to produce safety analyses and documentation (PHA, SHA, IHA, OSHA, FTA, Safety Case). Excellent communication; proactive, curious, rigorous with attention to detail; proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Excel.
Network & IT – Job Scope & Requirement
  • Responsibilities include configuring and managing network solutions for existing and new projects; configuring and installing access points, firewalls, routers, switches (Huawei, Cisco, Aruba, Meraki); supporting and maintaining network systems; troubleshooting on-site; collaborating with cross-functional teams; documenting configurations; staying updated with latest networking technologies.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; 2–3 years in networking; CCNP R&S and HCNA certifications; Cybersecurity certification is advantageous; strong routing & switching knowledge; ability to work independently and travel to sites.
Sales / Account Manager – Job Scope & Requirement
  • Job Scope: Identify technical requirements for bids, develop bidding strategies, own technical responses to PQQs, bids and tenders; evaluate tender docs; prepare technical solutions and pricing; manage bid governance and deadlines; maintain relationships with internal departments; ensure compliance with standards and KPIs; assist in monthly bid reports; represent the company professionally; open to fresh graduates.
  • Requirements: Degrees in Computer Science / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent; 3–5 years in security solutions or related security system sales; strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and in teams; willingness to travel; proficient in Microsoft Office; some AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
Software Engineer / Web Developer / R&D – Job Scope & Requirement
  • Software Engineer (Project): Involved in designing and implementing software solutions for Railway System, Smart City, Smart Industrial, Smart Energy, Smart Water, and Smart Command Centre. Responsibilities include SDLC artifacts, debugging, testing, and working in industrial automation domains (ICS/SCADA/ISCS, PSIM, IoT, BI, Big Data, ML). Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering; 2+ years in system/software development or testing; ISTQB/CPRE/CTFL/CTAL considered for senior positions; strong communication; capable of working under pressure.
  • Web Developer: Develop Integrated Command Centre Solution web/mobile apps; collaborate with UI/UX and backend teams; experience with Vue.js/Node.js/Express.js and RESTful APIs advantageous; degree in Engineering/CS/IT or related; 2+ years frontend development experience; good communication; willingness to fresh graduates.
  • R&D Senior Software / Software Engineer: Report to Software Manager, coding/testing/documentation, technical reviews, unit testing, coordination with project/marketing; degree in Engineering/CS/IT; strong C/C++ skills; experience with SCADA protocols (IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, OPC) advantageous; minimum 2 years’ experience; independent and team player.
Embedded Software Engineer – Job Scope & Requirement
  • Scope: Develop and maintain embedded OS, PMON, firmware, and drivers for SCADA RTU and related hardware; troubleshooting, testing, documentation, hardware/software integration; version control and change management; report progress to hardware manager; support all development phases; optimize for quality and cost; client trainings.
  • Qualifications: BS/MS in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science; 2+ years embedded software development (drivers, PMON, bootloader, etc); C/C++/PHP/CGI/Java on Embedded Linux/RTOS; familiarity with Ethernet, RS485, RS232, I2C, SPI, USB; experience with ICE/JTAG/tools; fresh graduates invited.
Internships
  • Electrical / Electronics Engineering: 3–6 months; duties include SCADA/ELV project assistance; pursuing Bachelor's in Engineering; Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering; English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.
  • Computer Science / IT / Software Engineering: Software track focuses on integration test, test case execution, bug tracking; IT track covers security, cybersecurity controls, asset/software licensing management, IT infrastructure upkeep, CI/CD setup; internships available 3–6 months; degree pursuit required.
  • Internship (Quality Assurance): ISO certifications management support (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001); development of management system documentation; 3–6 month duration; degrees in Engineering/Science/Quality Management/Business Administration preferred; English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.
