Job description

Overview

The Network Data Analyst role is responsible for the Day-to-Day reporting capability for the Global Network Organization within company which includes all aspects of monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. The position will also be responsibility for the accuracy of the underlying Network data. The role reports to the Global Head of Networks Operations.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage effective, scalable and easy to understand Daily/weekly/Monthly KPI dashboard reports
• Data analysis with a focus on finding trends and patterns to improve organisational excellence and the removal of non-productive activity
• Responsible for the accuracy of the Network data.
• Owner of the Network Life Cycle reporting and Model data management (Hardware End of Life, Patching/Vulnerability compliance, Device Configuration Standards)
• Owner of the accuracy of Network Monitoring/Reporting
• Development of Ad-hoc reporting
• Liaison with multiple business stakeholders and information systems partners involving complex problem solving is a significant element of work.
• Ability to translate business requirements into logical data concepts, ensuring consistency and accuracy across data domains.

• Data Domain Understanding: Deep comprehension of fundamental data concepts, including the distinction between Reference Data (e.g., country codes, product classifications) and Master Data (e.g., customer records, organizational hierarchies).
• Data Relationships: Practical experience and theoretical understanding of how different datasets are related.
• Data Models & Structure: Foundational knowledge of relational and non-relational database structures, including schema design principles and the concept of data normalization.
• Semantic Data: Appreciation for the importance of metadata, taxonomies, and ontologies in defining the meaning and context of data assets.
