Job summary

A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced IT Developer to enhance its Back Office Application System. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, with at least 5 years of IT system development experience, preferably in the financial services industry. Proficiency in Java, C#, and PHP is essential, along with strong troubleshooting capability. The role involves collaborating with teams, conducting system tests, and ensuring system integrity. This position supports independent work with timely project delivery expectations.

Job description

Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all AEON’s information assets.

Report promptly any breaches of law, regulations, company code of conduct, or other company policies and guidelines to the immediate superior.

Collaborate with team members and vendors to design and develop the Back Office Application System, adhering to ITG in-house standards and procedures.

Conduct program VIT/SIT/UAT testing.

Prepare technical documentation.

Manage ITH, IR, ACR, and project tasks to ensure timely delivery

Support, troubleshoot, and maintain the Back Office Application System.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years in IT system development (preferably in Financial Service/Banking Institution industry)

Experience in system integration: SOAP, Restful API in Json/XML content.

Familiar with web application tools/technologies tools: MSSQL Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio, Postman.

Skills

Proficiency in Java, C# and PHP programming and skillset

Ability to perform system development.

Ability to do troubleshooting and error correction with minimum supervision.

Communication skill is required so that can deliver opinions/views and solutions clearly to peers, superiors, and users.

Able to work with minimum supervision and independence.
