MES Business & Implementation Consultant

Responsibilities:

Participate in the implementation and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for manufacturing customers

Understand factory production workflows and translate business requirements into MES system solutions

Support MES functions such as production planning, quality management (IQC, PQC, FQC, SPC), material tracking, and equipment-related processes

Conduct system testing, user training, and go-live support at customer sites

Coordinate and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, QA, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders

Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors and external partners to ensure smooth project execution and quality delivery

Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentation materials

Engage with key stakeholders, participate in project meetings, and support project objectives

Support local and overseas customers through on-site and remote engagements

Travel frequently, including overseas travel, based on project needs

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines

Minimum 3 years of experience in MES implementation, manufacturing IT systems, or related roles

Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as production planning, quality control, and material management

Familiarity with MES or factory management systems is an advantage

Basic knowledge of databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and manufacturing data interfaces is a plus

Experience in Semiconductor, PV Solar, PCB, or PCBA manufacturing environments is preferred

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Able to work effectively under pressure in project-based environments

Willingness to travel extensively, including overseas assignments

Language Requirements:

Ability to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and project teams is required

Additional language proficiency (e.g. Tamil) is an added advantage
