Medical Sales Representative (Johor Based)
Strategic Sales Objectives & Sales Expertise (50%)
- Achieve strategic objectives as required by the franchise (e.g., market growth, sales growth, account growth, formulary listings, new product market priming).
- Demonstrate high-level sales expertise and relationship management through product knowledge, territory knowledge, selling skills, product presentation skills, and customer management.
- Be accountable for sales activities and compliance within the assigned territory.
Territory & Account Management (50%)
- Proactively plan and optimize overall sales performance through effective territory management.
- Resolve problems in a timely manner and escalate issues early.
- Plan and execute marketing/promotional activities (Focus Group Meetings, Lunch & Learn sessions, scientific leader engagement programs, digital program execution).
- Ensure timely submission and approval of documentation and reports for activities.
- Build and execute account plans for key accounts through in-depth customer understanding (profile, behavior, influence network, needs).
Education Level
- Degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Microbiology, or Science.
- Minimum 10 years in pharmaceuticals (clinical information, educational programs, training resources).
Overall Job Purpose
- Detail, promote, and sell company products to private and government healthcare professionals.
- Drive business for products through building relationships with key stakeholders within accounts.
- Achieve maximal sales and market share through tailored personal promotion that benefits patients and adheres to ethical standards.
- Build and execute account plans for top accounts and ensure timely execution of planned activities.
- Maintain 100% compliance with internal medical, legal, and compliance processes.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in NMBA, antibiotics, and antifungals is an added advantage.
- Strong presentation skills, positive attitude, and proven sales achievement.
- Strong customer focus and proven relationship-building skills.
- Good track record in sales with a history of achieving results.
- Experience in handling projects from end to end.
