A leading pharmaceutical company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a sales representative to promote and sell its products to healthcare professionals. The role involves achieving sales targets, building relationships with doctors and pharmacists, and managing a defined territory. Ideal candidates will have a degree in a relevant field and 1-3 years of sales experience, with strong communication and negotiation skills. The position offers an opportunity for growth in a dynamic environment.
To promote and sell the Company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, achieve sales targets, expand market presence, and build strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and key stakeholders.
Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Promote and detail company products to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals.
Develop and grow business in assigned territory, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies.
Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base.
Conduct effective product detailing, presentations, and product updates.
Organize and execute CME, Lunch & Learn, product launches, and promotional activities.
Ensure accurate and compliant communication of product information.
Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly call plans effectively.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts and decision makers.
Monitor competitors’ activities and provide market intelligence to management.
Submit timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and activity updates.
Update CRM system and maintain proper documentation of sales activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and industry regulations.
Diploma / Degree in Biomedical Science, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related fields.
Minimum 1–3 years experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
Experience handling GP, hospital, or pharmacy accounts is an advantage.
Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
Self‑motivated, result‑driven, and able to work independently.
Good planning, territory management, and reporting skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office / CRM systems.
Possess own transport and valid driving license.
Willing to travel within assigned territory.
