Overview
The M&E Engineer is required to work actively at the project site and attend daily construction activities, including outdoor work under the sun. The engineer must be willing to carry out site inspections and responsibilities directly at the field.
Responsibilities
- Assist project leader in planning and sequencing of construction operations in accordance with the Project SafetyQualityPlan (PSQP).
- Attend to client’s representatives, vendors (subcontractors’ and suppliers’).
- Attend/involve in work inspection and internal audit to ensure compliance to the standard requirements of Nakano Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Conduct inspection on M&E work done by vendors.
- Coordinate the handover of completed M&E work to the client.
- Ensure that updated drawings including shop drawings are used for construction and keep latest records in line with the requirements of Nakano IMS.
- Attend to mechanical & electrical rectification works.
Requirements
- 4 years of relevant working experience in the management of construction projects, preferably in commercial buildings. Experience in commercial buildings, data centers, or semiconductor projects would be an added advantage.
- Applicants must be willing to work at project sites nationwide (accommodation will be provided by the company).
- Official working hours are from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Applicants must be willing to commit to working beyond regular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- 12 months contract duration (with potential for extension or renewal).
