A. Material Planning & Inventory Management
- Review MRP outputs and plan material requirements for SMT, assembly, NPI, and box-build operations.
- Manage safety stocks, MOQ, and planning parameters to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, lead times, and BOM/AVL data in ERP.
- Lead initiatives to reduce slow‑moving, obsolete, or excess materials and improve cycle count accuracy.
B. Inter‑Department Communication
- Provide daily/weekly material readiness updates and highlight risks to Production and Planning teams.
- Coordinate ECOs, BOM changes, and material substitutions with Engineering.
- Work with Procurement to resolve shortages, expedite critical items, and confirm delivery schedules.
- Ensure Warehouse/clerks maintain accurate kitting, storage, MSD/ESD handling, and ERP transactions.
- Guide and train clerks to improve material handling and process compliance.
C. Customer Communication & Reporting
- Prepare and share material status, shortage, and build readiness reports with customers.
- Attend customer meetings to present recovery plans and coordinate readiness for audits or NPI builds.
- Provide aging, excess/obsolete, and consumption analysis reports as required.
D. Reporting & Process Improvement
- Provide real‑time updates, weekly/monthly dashboards, and highlight potential risks affecting production or customer OTD.
- Support planners in optimizing build schedules based on material readiness.
- Implement best practices for material flow, kitting, storage, and ERP traceability.
- Reduce inventory variance and improve process efficiency.
- Supervise clerks in daily tasks, material counting, kitting, and line‑feeding activities.
- Provide guidance and training to enhance team performance and compliance.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–5 years experience in SMT/PCBA/Box‑build material planning or control.
- Proficient in Excel (basic formulas, Pivot Table an advantage).
- Strong analytical skills with deep understanding of MRP and BOM structures.
- Detail‑oriented, responsible, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with customers & internal teams.
- Strong leadership and ability to handle fast‑paced manufacturing requirements.
- Able to handle ESD components and MSD materials.
- We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
