Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual and physical inspections of incoming and outgoing items.
  • Coordinate the return or repair of defective goods.
  • Update internal systems with daily pricing and stock movements.
  • Process internal transfer notes and returns accurately.
  • Verify received goods against documentation.
  • Perform daily stock reconciliation and participate in monthly stocktakes.
  • Organise storage and facilitate the secure packaging and distribution.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve quality or inventory issues.

Material Control Assistant (Quality Control)

We are looking for Material Control Assistant in supporting the quality control, inventory management, pricing updates, and logistics operations of the company. This role ensures that all materials and items are accurately received, inspected, recorded, and transferred in accordance with company standards and procedures. The position requires attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality handling of stock items.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual and physical inspections of incoming and outgoing items to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and workmanship.
  • Coordinate the return or repair of defective goods while maintaining proper tagging for full traceability.
  • Update internal systems with daily pricing, stock movements, and transaction data for new arrivals, repairs, and transfers.
  • Process internal transfer notes and returns, ensuring documentation accurately reflects product specification including its condition, quantity and item descriptions.
  • Verify received goods against documentation, flagging discrepancies in barcode or physical condition immediately.
  • Perform daily stock reconciliation and participate in monthly stocktakes across finished goods, WIP, and raw materials.
  • Organise storage and facilitate the secure packaging and distribution of items to showrooms or departments.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality or inventory issues and provide general team support.
  • Maintain accurate filing and report operational discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum SPM or equivalent; diploma is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory systems and data entry.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling physical goods and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in quality control, inventory, or logistics is preferred but not required.
