Get to Know the Team:

The Group Marketplace team supports country teams in managing driver supply, pricing, marketplace strategy, product rollouts, and special projects. We often work with large datasets, deriving insights to create actionable solutions. There is minimal bureaucracy, allowing a quick turnaround from insights to decisions and execution.

Get to Know the Role:

Your main responsibility is to ensure that Deliveries marketplace operates as efficiently as possible - making sure that all customers are served 100% of the time, are served at the optimal time possible with the lowest cost possible. You will be responsible for proposing initiatives that will improve our Deliveries operations and work with various stakeholders in executing them.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Deliveries Strategy and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will analyze and interpret complex datasets, independently wrangling data and translating insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• You will identify operational inefficiencies and apply operational judgment to design effective solutions.
• You will create, implement, and scale tools and processes across multiple markets, assessing local needs and adapting solutions to ensure effectiveness.
• You will manage and influence diverse stakeholders, balancing priorities and collaborating across functions to drive alignment and outcomes.
• You will adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, remaining flexible to changing timelines, priorities, and strategic direction.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Minimum of 2 years experience with start-up/tech, operations, e-commerce, marketing or management consulting background
• Prior experience in data analysis with proficiency in using SQL. Knowledge of Python and working in Cursor in a plus.
• Experience managing projects and operational initiatives, balancing strategic planning.
• You can identify key drivers, and create actionable strategies based on data insights. You can think long-term, making informed trade-offs between short-term gains and long-term growth. You also able to balance diverse needs within the business.
