A leading eCommerce company in Malaysia is seeking a Brand Manager to lead brand development and marketing strategies for Presto. The ideal candidate will drive brand positioning, collaborate with various teams, and oversee the implementation of effective marketing campaigns. Must have at least 5 years of experience in marketing, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in brand building linked to revenue growth. This role offers a significant opportunity to enhance brand loyalty in the digital marketplace.
To lead the Brand Development for Presto as Brand Custodian and Target Customer Champion.
To startegize and implement Presto Marketing Strategic Suppliers (Internal), Operational Excellence and People Excellence (Strategic Pillars).
To execute successfully, the implementation of 4 strategic pillars that encompasses full PDCA cycle of accountabilitly; Plan, Develop, Control & Action to ensure the achievement of short and long term Brand Equity, Revenue and Profit Target of Presto.
To drive a successful Presto brand positioning and well established as the Top of Mind most preferred loyalty eCommerce platform and loyalty points redemption destination in its chosen market.
To develop and activate effectively & efficiently, with due care and diligence, all marketing collaterals within the Brand Framework/ Blueprint and guardrails.
To build an intimate relationship with the target audience through consistent Brand Key Message (output of Brand Blueprint) and sustainable, relevant touch points, winning them as customer, shopper and loyalist throughout the full continuous cycle of path to purchase.
To gain the footfall/ transaction count at the most efficient acquisition cost through a strong MOT engagement (Zero, First, Second Moment of Truth).
To continuously sharpen the marketing strategies & identify opportunities with consistent scanning of the competitive eco system; customer; channels; competitor, cost & category trend.
To strategically collaborate with peers in Merchandising and Commercial to build strong sustainable Transaction count, Frequency, Loyalty and sustainable growth in recurring ticket size.
To keep abreast of the current market trends, customer requirements, digital marketing development & innovations and competitor activity to identify communication opportunities to achiever sell out categories.
To build strategic alliances through partnerships to drive innovation and achieve membership growth.
To oversee department's day to day implementation of marketing and operation activities on time and in full.
To create and manage annual marketing calendar to drive marketing efforts in hitting growth targets, objectives and key results.
To allocate and manage marketing, brand, creative resources effectively and efficiently, based on business priorities.
To ensure the maximum effectiveness and return on investment of all marketing activities.
To drive a comprehensive and consistent 360 brand campaign & thematic to increase Presto brand awareness, brand consideration, brand trial, brand loyalty and brand advocacy consistently.
To develop and manage brand architecture, positioning, and strategy including logo, tagline, messaging, creative material etc...
To supervise quality of brand communications and branding placements across assets, both digital and physical.
To provide creative and art direction that deliver high impact marketing communications which is single minded, interesting, memorable, positioning on, linked to brand and emotionally involving.
To collaborate with other departments to achieve company sales and profit targets.
To disseminate market survey, customer satisfaction and insights to the appropriate internal stakeholders for improvements.
To achieve marketing operational enablers as measured by brand equity/imagery, membership recruitment, retention, active members measured by sales & profit.
To contribute to customer positive experience through Customer Service excellence.
To set entity and operational KPIs in conjunction with superior and to cascade effectively to team members.
Any other additional responsibilities assigned by superior and or management.
To lead by example, inspire and motivate a winning Presto marketing team.
To build a strong forward action team that contribute to the Company's Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
To install brand pride within own subordinates.
To develop and grow subordinates with appropriate guidance, timely constructive feed forward for continuous improvement and career progression opportunities.
To achieve people related KPIs.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business or equivalent.
5 years of professional marketing experience, preferably across e-Commerce/ Loyalty Programs/ Fintech/ Payments.
Proven leadership skills with an ability to motivate, coaches and hold teams accountable to produce high-quality results.
Strong brand building experience that is tied back to overall revenue growth.
Ability to design and coordinate marketing campaigns across traditional and modern channels.
Exceptional knowledge in marketing techniques and platforms.
Highly analytical & numbers-driven, leverage data to make informed decisions to drive key objectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with individuals across a variety of functions.
High attention to detail when judging copy, creative, design and all forms of brand-related/ marketing materials.
Creativity and innovation, ability to think out of the box and conceptualize creative campaigns that can drive positive brand awareness.
Has excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
Has the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and work well in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace.
Self-motivated, strong work ethics and results-driven.
Immediate or short-notice availability is an advantage.
Good to have:
Experience in project managing complex, cross-functional projects,
Experience in eCommerce platform, loyalty initiatives, or CRM-driven marketing is a strong plus.
